Valentino Balboni and the Lamborghini Countach

I only have two heroes. Or idols. Michael Schumacher and Valentino Balboni.
Valentino Balboni was, for many years, chief test driver at Lamborghini.
Balboni started working for Lamborghini in 1968, as a mechanic apprentice in the company.
He later moved on to become a test driver alongside Bob Wallace.
He proceeded to chief test driver, and has as such reached cult status among those of us who knows the brand and the business.
Lamborghini even made a special version of the Gallardo called “Valentino Balboni edition”. (LP550-2)
It is, of course, rear wheel drive, and has white and gold stripes through the center.
